Founded in 2003 by Melonie Montgomery, Fenestra Research Labs (FRL) was originally established as a BTC (business to consumer) company, with the launch of its proprietary technology, The Optimal Wellness Test (OWT).  The OWT was able to identify and measure 34 clinical markers in human physiology to a very high degree of accuracy, and conclude the level of “wellness” exhibited by individual clients with specific recommendations for improving areas of concern.

 

Individual demand for the OWT test continued to grow through 2003 and 2004, and FRL also experienced increasing demand from supplementation manufacturers to utilize its technology to conduct empirical studies and verify the efficacy claims of specific supplements.  During this time, FRL was able to assist many manufacturers support product claims by creating verifiable, repeatable evidence through double-blind human clinical trials.  FRL was also called upon to suggest product formulation changes to correct and/or improve client wellness levels. 

 

By mid 2005, FRL had not only significantly enhanced its BTC testing revenues,  but had also concluded many successful product research studies and captured many satisfied manufacturer clients.

 

FRL research documentation continues to enhance manufacturer market position with persuasive, conclusive, and inspiring evidence provided by state-of-the-art science.  While comparable human clinical studies can often run into the $200,000 to $400,000 range (a cost that is usually prohibitive to most supplementation manufacturers), the FRL strategic marketing advantage is that their studies can cost as little as $30,000, by far the most cost-effective clinical trials available in the marketplace today. 

 

In 2006 FRL intends to focus on the growth of its product research division through aggressive industry marketing throughout the USA in print, internet, radio and TV media with the possible expansion into international markets by the end of 2006.

 

About Melonie Montgomery

 

Melonie Montgomery is a proficient healthcare professional with over 15 years of diversified management and marketing experience in Nutrition, Health and Wellness with particular emphasis on the research and establishment of new product lines and increasing business profit.

  

During her corporate career, she managed 52 Franchised Nutrition and Wellness stores across the country. and her responsibilities included; education on Aromatherapy, Homeopathic, Sports Nutrition, Herbs, Allergies, Weight Management, Extracts, Natural Foods and Children’s products. Preformed nutritional consultations that included; Diabetic management, Hypoglycemic aids, Cardiovascular health, Allergies awareness and specific dietary concerns.

 

She has also organized, developed and taught University level curriculum and programs for over 1,000 health care students.

 

She is scheduled to complete her PhD In Holistic Nutrition in early 2006, and her current credentials include:
